Our Policy Agenda
We deserve an Akron that works for all of us. Safe neighborhoods, quality schools, affordable homes, and good job opportunities.
For far too long, Akron has struggled with these foundational issues. It’s led to population decline, economic stagnation, and racial disparities, instead of the thriving city we all want to live in.
Overcoming these challenges – getting to an Akron that works for all of us – takes new, bold ideas. It takes political will, the ability to sit down with people who may disagree with you and find compromise, and a sense of urgency in realizing that we – that Akron’s future – can’t wait.
